Bubble gaskets are designed with a rounded, dome-like top that looks similar to a bubble, whereas flipper gaskets have a long fin running along their length. Both types create an effective seal when compressed between a door or window and its frame. Bubble-flip gaskets combine features of both the bubble and flipper designs. Although these gaskets can wear out over time, replacing them is usually straightforward – the main difficulty lies in finding the correct type.
